Who is in the collective? Do I get to choose my vendors?

The BWC is made up of vendors chosen for their talent, experience and love of weddings. We are totally transparent about who will be serving you on the day, and will present you with a curated selection of vendors to choose from depending on your style and needs!

What do I get to customize?

As soon as you book with The Collective, we will send you a questionnaire. This survey that allows you to communicate your aesthetic, and preferences about different aspects of the wedding celebration. For example, what style of photography resonates with you? What bouquet makes you smile? Which cake makes your mouth water? Are there specific songs, colors, or ideas that speak to you as a couple? We want this wedding to feel as unique and special as your love is.

What about the ceremony?

The ceremony is customized for you! We have several ceremonial pieces that you can choose from, or if you have your own ideas we are happy to include them! Our ordained officiants are legally able to marry you, and sign your marriage license. If you choose to have a friend, family member or religious leader officiate the ceremony instead of ours, we can provide guidance through the process. We know getting legally married is a big piece of this puzzle, and things are still shifting and changing with this piece, but we can provide you all the information on how to make it happen!

How does the food and service part of this work?

We will work with you to determine the best option for catering, service and bar. Whether you want a casual cake and champagne kind of day, or spoil your nearest and dearest with a full dinner party, we will help you to create a plan that is unique, affordable and fits your celebration perfectly.

Does it have to be in a backyard?

Your backyard, a friend or family member’s backyard, or perhaps a generous neighbor….but yes! At this point, the restrictions and rules are always changing and we have to be able to execute on your private property to ensure things go off without a hitch. You and your loved one’s health is our number one priority- we will work with you to ensure everyone feels 100% taken care of and safe.
